About Me

About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping others recognize their own value and and inner peace. During my career, I have worked in psychiatric and medical hospitals, a sexual assault center, and in an individual therapy setting. Each of those experiences allowed me to gain a different perspective of the human experience and the challenges that each of us face. Above all, the most important thing to know about me is that I love providing support and encouragement for my clients because I do genuinely care about the people I serve.

My Approach

I enjoy being interactive and engaged with my clients, but I do tailor my approach based on the needs and personalities of each individual. My approach is client-centered and may include the use of various therapies including CBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, amongst others. I have also found brainspotting to be a highly effective technique in promoting well-being and healing and love to incorporate this into the mix. Whatever approach is used, a central tenet of the work we will do will focus on self-compassion and positive self-regard as I have found these things integral to good mental health.
